What will you do: 

  • You’ll be working in a small, fun team that can execute quickly. 
  • You will be working on an exciting new product, building the frontend in React
  • Build a next-generation web application with a focus on an exceptional user experience.
  • Communicate with other team members to determine the best solutions to difficult problems.
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Interact with our backend systems
  • This is a remote working position.

 

Requirements

  • You are a good communicator and collaborator (essential as this a remote role)
  • Experience working with React and component-based systems
  • A great eye for detail and experience working closely with other designers to fill in the gaps
  • Extensive experience with responsive CSS, especially in the context of designing and building responsive application UIs
  • A knack for writing semantically meaningful, reusable HTML markup
  • Familiarity with building for accessibility
  • Experience in setting up build infrastructure and architecture for medium-scale frontend projects
  • A proven preference for pragmatism over dogma (you should be able to argue for or against any tech or design decision in a cogent and objective way)
  • Proactively identify new and emerging trends and suggest ways how we can use them

 

Bonus Experience

  • Experience building consumer-focused web applications
  • Experience with Webpack
  • Working knowledge of Docker, AWS and CI tools
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Working within a remote team
  • A good understanding of client-side performance tuning, security and optimization (caching, CDNs, request management, cookies, http, https, etc.)
  • Exposure to Node.js
